“But Daniel determined in his heart that he would not defile himself by [eating his portion of] the king’s rich and dainty food or by [drinking] the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might [be allowed] not to defile himself. Now God made Daniel to find favor, compassion, and loving-kindness with the chief of the eunuchs.” (Daniel 1:8-9 Amplified)

As God made Daniel find favor so He will cause you to walk in Divine Favor. Daniel was a captive. His people were hated in Babylon. There was no earthly reason for him to find favor with the leaders of a Gentile court. Why did Daniel have favor? He had favor flowing from his spirit.

He expected good things to happen. He had a healthy attitude towards others, regardless of his surroundings. He did not allow his adverse circumstances to turn him sour. He had a sense of success flowing from within. Daniel was linked to the Lord. He had authority; he walked in strength and victory. This flowed out of Daniel’s life like a river. It was automatic. He may not have been fully conscious of it.

He believed in the Lord. The defeat and capture of his people did not cause him to be discouraged. Daniel knew that “THE SPIRIT” controls life. Rather than yielding to his surroundings and becoming a failure, he rose to the level of victory. Daniel was determined to be a success by living in the spirit of success and favor. I see you moving upward and forward in Jesus Name.

“I confess favor and success. Just as the Lord brought Daniel into favor and success, He also brings me into success. Amen.”
