“The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity]. To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound.” (Luke 4:18-19)

This is a beautiful portion of scripture. When Jesus came to Nazareth, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. He then read quoting the prophet Isaiah in Luke 4:18-19. Now this same Spirit is upon you. The Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus, who is our head; Make sure that you do not ignore this aspect in your life. We are to walk in this same anointing and power. May the Holy Spirit make us realize that this is where we should also be.

The Lord has given us his Precious Holy Spirit. So, we are not alone. That same anointing is upon your life. There is no limit to what God wants to do for us in our lives. We must lift our thoughts higher and remove all barriers from walking and experiencing this marvelous full anointing of the Lord. Let this be your confession and song: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the Gospel”. With everything you deal with, know that the Spirit of the Lord will cause you to have supernatural results in your life.

“I boldly declare that the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because He has anointed me in Jesus Name, Amen.”
