“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.)” (Acts 4:31)

Have you heard the saying, ‘Many hands make light work?’ How true it is. Think about how powerful things could be in your church if everyone was heading in the same direction in one accord, not caring as to who got the credit.

Powerful things happened in the book of Acts when the people were all in one accord and laid down their life for the church. There are a few things that stand out to me that showed their commitment. Acts chapter 2 says that they were all in one accord and in Acts chapter 4 when they prayed, the whole building shook. Now that is power!

Another thing that stands out to me is the fact that they were so committed. They even sold their possessions because the church had needs. That would be the same as running home and selling your DVD Player, laptop and TV just to sow the money to your church! Wow, talk about commitment.

Now, I am not saying that you have to go home and do that. I am just illustrating a point. Personally, I have done things like that and can tell you that God Blessed me each and every time beyond my expectations!

“I have predetermined with great resolve, to be of one heart and one mind with other believers in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.”
