“And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel”

(Ephesians 6:19)

It is important that you pray God’s Word and His Will over your Pastor. Sometimes people have the tendency to pray things over their Pastor, such as ‘Lord change this or that about my Pastor’. The truth is the things you think may need to be changed may not be the things that need changing at all. That’s why it’s important to pray God’s Will over your Pastor instead of your own will. The following are some scriptural ways you can pray for your Pastor.

Prayer for Insight and Revelation:

Father, I thank you for my Pastor. I lift Him up before you and ask you to Bless Him. Give Him Insight and Revelation, so that He will know Spiritual truths. Help Him to know you more and more. Open the eyes of his heart to see clearly all that you have planned for Him and all that you want Him to do. Let him know how much you love Him and the greatness of your Power is toward Him every day

Ephesians 1:16-19 “Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 1:19 And what [is] the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power”

“I pray regularly for my Pastor & his family, that whenever they open their mouths to preach, words are given to them so that they can fearlessly make known the mystery of the Gospel in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.”
