“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me”

(Daniel 6:22)

Daniel’s final instance of supernatural deliverance is perhaps the most instructive. He was persecuted for righteousness’ sake even though ‘they could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. (Daniel 6:4)

Daniel’s lifestyle, his decisions, his ethics, his honesty and his work ethic were all above reproach. His purity became his confidence. ‘My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight’

Your integrity is your shield. Peter said, ‘Make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him’ (2 Peter 3:14) If you work on the ‘spotless’ and ‘blameless’ part, God will work on the ‘delivering part.

In the dark night of the lion’s den, the angel of the Lord was with Daniel. ‘Those who devise wicked schemes are near… Yet you are near, O lord and all your commands are true” Psalm 119:150, 151.

When the enemy seems to have the upper hand, search your heart. If it is innocent and pure before God, remember, ‘Help is on the Way’.

Our Prayer Together…

“Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for your help and guidance by your precious Holy Spirit in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.”
