“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

(Matthew 17:20)

Could you have Faith to fish for your tax money? Jesus received a word from God that somewhere down in the depths of the Sea of Galilee was an unusual fish. Most fish must open and close their mouths to live, but the Saint Peter’s fish keeps its young in its mouth for protection.

Our Faith is often limited to expecting natural sources of blessing rather than to believing for supernatural blessing. Faith was a normal way of life for Jesus. He never flinched when telling His disciples that if they had faith ‘as small as a mustard seed’, they could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it would move. He rebuked His disciples because their Faith failed to deliver a young boy suffering from seizures.

This does not mean that we will not use natural means to pay our bills or be delivered. However our Faith must be based upon the knowledge that God is the One working behind the scenes of our lives, preparing provision before we need it.

Our Prayer Together…

“Heavenly Father, I thank you for supernatural blessings. Help me not to doubt your power in Jesus Name, Amen.”
