“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1Timothy 6:10)

The above Scripture is very clear by stating that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Here, God’s Word gives us a warning. However there is also a remedy for this situation. The remedy is found in the Book of First Timothy: “But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” 1Timothy 6:11. In other word’s focus on God’s Word and the way He does things.

We must pursue God and busy ourselves with the Kingdom of God. We must pursue Righteousness, Godliness, Faith, Love, Patience and Gentleness. When we do this, God by His Anointing will then put opportunities, contracts and so forth in our hands to create wealth.

Then in turn we sow into the Kingdom of God. By doing this we expand and grow God’s Kingdom. This is our purpose in life. We must come to the point where we are fully Kingdom minded and operate our finances in line with Kingdom Principles.

Money is not evil, but the love of money is. Those who focus on money and riches fall into many temptations and traps that plunge them into ruin. As you follow after righteousness, things will follow you.

“I will not set my mind on money and riches, for I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for me and provides me with all things, Amen."
