“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”
(2 Timothy 2:3)

The Apostle Paul stated that we are to endure hardness as a good soldier. Difficult and hard times are going to visit the life of every believer and that includes you. Some Christians get confused when these times come. Jesus is with you and in you but satan will challenge you. He will try his best to steal from you, by pulling you out of your walk of faith. satan will not sit idly by while you sail through life effortlessly believing the Word of God.

He will pressure you with hard times. He will attack you with sickness and lack. Then he will lie to you and say “God does not care”. He will try to convince you that God will not answer your prayer. He will attempt to talk you into believing there’s no way out. When those hard times come, don’t cave in under the pressure. Don’t give up! Stand on the Word of God and endure hardness like a good soldier. You are able, by God’s Power to overcome. Be a spiritual giant and believe in God.

If anyone competes as an athlete, He does not receive the victors crown unless he competes according to the rules. So therefore, endure hardness and persecution as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. As a good soldier, press on! You may be tempted to look back. No, begin to look up, God loves you.

“I endure hardship and persecution as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. As a good soldier I desire to please my commanding officer. Amen.”
