“Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28)

Make a decision in life to minister and help others. The above Scripture declares that the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and give His life as ransom for others. Through your generosity, self – sacrifice and willingness to give, you will maintain a level of honour and spiritual maturity that captures the Heart of Heaven.

When you minister to others, He will minister Grace to you. As you refresh others the Lord will refresh you. As you encourage others, the Lord will send people to encourage you. When you receive one of your brothers and sisters in Christ, no matter whom they may be, you receive Christ Himself. And by receiving Jesus, you receive the Father as well.

You must not look at your own interests alone but to the interests of others as well. Your attitude and manner of thinking must be the same as that of Jesus. He emptied Himself taking the Nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. Our Lord came to minister to others. Let us follow His example in life, which is to minister and refresh others. It is wonderful to note that those who refresh others are refreshed by the Lord.

“I do nothing out of selfish ambition or haughtiness, but in the Spirit of Humility. I place others before myself. Amen.”
