For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory. (Colossians 3:3-4 Amplified)

As a believer you are pressing forward in the things of God. Everyday is an adventure in faith. With each passing day, you are letting the past be the past. Stop dwelling on the past, because God has already forgiven you. You cannot alter your past. So, why dwell on it?

Let it go so that God can show and reveal the now to you. Stop having court cases in your mind. Leave the past in the past. That is where it belongs. When people keep bringing up your past, let them know that the old you has gone and you are now in hot pursuit of the things of God.

You have changed and are in the process of conforming to the image of Christ. You are now part of a new race. This means that your heart and mind are now set on the things of the Kingdom of God.

You should put to death all things that belong to your old sense ruled nature. As you do this you will find that your spiritual life will begin to accelerate. With each and every day that passes, remind yourself that you have an assignment and a goal and that is to fulfill your God given destiny.

“I set my heart on the things above, where Christ is seated and am in hot pursuit of Godly things, Amen.”
