“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (1 Peter 5:8-9)

The devil attempts to intimidate you from day to day. The devil is like a guard dog that sits at the front gate and barks at everything that goes by. The only people who are scared of him are those who don’t realize that he doesn’t have any teeth! Don’t be intimidated by the devil. His bark is certainly worse than his bite. Remain self- controlled and alert, because you now know that your enemy, the devil prowls around like a roaring lion.

However, you are fully aware of his evil schemes and he cannot catch you by surprise. You are to resist him, standing firm in faith and in the realization that you have brothers and sisters all over the world, resisting him as well. Your Heavenly Father will Himself restore and deliver you out of any and every adverse circumstance the devil devises against you. Be strong in the Lord, be firm, steadfast and immovable, a solid rock who gives the devil a perpetual headache.

Challenges and adversity may arise in your life, but don’t be intimidated by the devil. Through the Word of God and the anointing, you will be delivered out of every adverse circumstance in life. In Christ, you are strong, firm, steadfast and immovable.

“I boldly declare that I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might and I am not intimidated by the devil, Amen.”
