“[Thou] whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou [art] my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. Fear thou not; for I [am] with thee: be not dismayed; for I [am] thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:9-10)

While dealing with the Subject of Rejection, let us look at Insecurity. What is insecurity? It is a psychological disturbance that is now of epidemic proportions. Many people in the world today are insecure. In fact, more people today may be insecure than secure.

However, when we study the Word of God, there are some great Scriptures that promise us that we can be secure through Jesus Christ. Simply put, God wants you to be secure. Listen to what Paul prayed for the Church: “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,” (Eph 3:17)

Your security does not depend on your money, wealth or job, the way you look and how others respond to you or even how they treat you. Don’t base your security on your education, the label of your clothes, the car you drive or the kind of house you live in. Don’t base your security on whether you are married or single or whether you have children or not. Don’t place your security in anything other than Jesus Christ and Him alone. He alone is the rock upon which you must stand.

“I am secure in Christ Jesus and am loved by God. His love has been shed abroad my heart by the Holy Ghost in the Mighty Name of Jesus,” Amen
