Know Your Season – Women’s Day Celebration

Women have always been playing a major role in the transformation and betterment of our lives and homes as a community and the world globally. This is a day we have dedicated to commemorate and honour their sacrifices and patience to nurture.

Tickets for this event can be sold to men to spoil their wives and daughters or sisters but no men will be allowed to arrive on that day, unless if you dropping that special women of which is compulsory :-D

Pastor Zubeda will be ministering to the women about “Knowing Your Season” and they will be pampered in an atmosphere where they will be able to kick back and relax for at least 1 day, this will give your mother, sister or daughter the necessary rejuvenation they need to be more bold, strong and full of vision.

The History of This Marvellous Idea

On 9 August 1956, more than 50,000 women staged a march on the Union Buildings in Pretoria to protest against the proposed amendments to the Urban Areas Act (commonly known as the pass laws) of 1950. They left bundles of petitions containing more than 100 000 signatures at prime minister J.G. Strijdom’s office doors. Outside they stood silently for 30 minutes, many with their children on their backs. The women sang a protest song that was composed in honour of the occasion: Wathint’Abafazi Wathint’imbokodo!(Now you have touched the women, you have struck a rock.). In the 54 years since, the phrase (or its latest incarnation: “you strike a woman, you strike a rock“) has come to represent women’s courage and strength in South Africa. (’s_Day)

So we urge you to invite and bring those special women through to this auspicious event.
