Nothing Will Harm You! “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
You know in life many different things happens to all of us. If you don’t get hurt, you are cheated or lied about or abused in some way. When this happens most of us are not prepared to handle these negative situations. However, it is time that you find out how to put God’s Power to work for you when someone does you wrong. So, let us consider some keys to effectively deal with the challenges of life. Key No. 1: We must identify the real enemy. We think that the enemy is the person that caused us the harm or injury and you then become angry with a person. But, that person is being influenced by satan. It is satan behind the hurt and attack. Key No. 2: Go after satan and not people. Once you have identified the enemy, hit satan with God’s Word. Speak out the promises from the Bible. In the Name of Jesus bind satan from doing further harm and render him powerless. Key No. 3: Pray for the person who did you wrong. (See Matthew 5:44-45) Next time someone hurts you, put God’s Power to work. Identify the real enemy. Then deal with the situation according to God’s Word and not your emotions. POWER CONFESSION “Through Him, I overcome all the Power of the Enemy and boldly declare that nothing will harm me in Jesus Name, Amen”. – Faith Centre International

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing” (1 Timothy 2:1, 2) God has called us to pray. Your prayers as a Born again Christian are heard in heaven and God answers them. Don’t underestimate your prayers. God depends on you to pray for situations all around. You are to pray for your country, your government, your city, your family, friends, unsaved loved ones, etc. Sometimes, we think that our prayers are not effective. You may even think, “let my Pastor or leaders pray. I have very little experience to pray” and so forth. No, please remember your prayers are powerful. God is depending on you. God has called us to pray. He has given us His Word, Power, Authority and Faith. We have all the tools necessary to pray. I urge you to pray for your spiritual leaders, your government, your country, your nation. Get involved and do your part. Release your Faith. Our prayers makes tremendous power available. When you pray, things will turn around and change for the better. I urge you to pray. This is urgent business. Remember, prayer changes things. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11) As you live your life as a Christian many challenges are thrown at you. During these times it would seem that you start to doubt the wonderful plans God has for you. All of us have experienced failures, bruises and hurts. However, always remember that God is bigger than these hurts and failures. When you focus on these things it will cause you to slump into depression and fear will grip your heart. As you get your eyes upon Jesus, know that the promises of God are real. As you meditate on God’s goodness, your pain and hurts will disappear. Joy will hit your Spirit. Then, you will begin to see the great future God has for you. The key is to purposely focus your attention on the promises of God. Continually replace thoughts of the past with scriptural promises about your future. Then you will not function with hurts and wounds. You will become a conquering warrior. Remember, God has a great future for you but you must let go of the past. Philippians 3:13, 14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” POWER CONFESSION “I now boldly declare that I have a Great Future because God has thoughts of peace towards me in Jesus Name, Amen”. – Faith Centre International

“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12) You don’t have to be confused any longer regarding how you would train your spirit. As an athlete prepares for his great race, so you too as a Christian can train to be effective in the Kingdom of God. Spiritual things don’t just come upon you by chance. There are certain things you must do to become strong in the Lord. Now, let us consider some steps in this regard; Step No 1: Get up early in the morning and spend time with God. Step No 2: Spend time with God’s Word in your day. (Read and study your Chronicles as well.) Step No 3: Spend time reading and listening to your Pastors materials. This will cause the Anointing on His life to function in your life. Step No 4: Attend church service regularly. Don’t neglect to assemble with the saints of God. Step No 5: Get involved in the Work of God. Begin to serve in your local church. This will cause you to grow as a Christian and it increases the Anointing on your life. Remember, God Anoints you for service. Step No 6: Get involved in financing the Kingdom of God. As you begin to give into the work of the Lord, Revelation comes to you. Become a Spiritual Athlete in training yourself in the things of God. POWER CONFESSION “I say yes to the things of God and shun all ungodliness. “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12) Have you watched an athlete train. He does the same thing over and over until He becomes very fit, good and quick. He practices to improve his skills. He does this so He can win the race. So much of training for one event, yet they do it again and again. This is the same way you can train yourself in Spiritual things. Hebrews 5:14 says that we can train ourselves to distinguish between good and evil. When you train for something, you daily expose yourself to whatever you want to become. You must practice it over and over until it becomes second nature to you. People that are disciplined (in whatever area), have practiced being disciplined. They have made wise choices. Spending time with God is a Spiritual exercise. As you spend time with God and His Word, your Spirit becomes stronger and stronger. This will cause you to overcome bad habits and adopt good ones. As you read this devotional, make up your mind to train your spirit. Don’t miss church and meetings. These are all designed to help you grow in the things of God.
