“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11) As you live your life as a Christian many challenges are thrown at you. During these times it would seem that you start to doubt the wonderful plans God has for you. All of us have experienced failures, bruises and hurts. However, always remember that God is bigger than these hurts and failures. When you focus on these things it will cause you to slump into depression and fear will grip your heart. As you get your eyes upon Jesus, know that the promises of God are real. As you meditate on God’s goodness, your pain and hurts will disappear. Joy will hit your Spirit. Then, you will begin to see the great future God has for you. The key is to purposely focus your attention on the promises of God. Continually replace thoughts of the past with scriptural promises about your future. Then you will not function with hurts and wounds. You will become a conquering warrior. Remember, God has a great future for you but you must let go of the past. Philippians 3:13, 14 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” POWER CONFESSION “I now boldly declare that I have a Great Future because God has thoughts of peace towards me in Jesus Name, Amen”. – Faith Centre International
