“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19)
You know in life many different things happens to all of us. If you don’t get hurt, you are cheated or lied about or abused in some way. When this happens most of us are not prepared to handle these negative situations. However, it is time that you find out how to put God’s Power to work for you when someone does you wrong. So, let us consider some keys to effectively deal with the challenges of life. Key No. 1: We must identify the real enemy. We think that the enemy is the person that caused us the harm or injury and you then become angry with a person. But, that person is being influenced by satan. It is satan behind the hurt and attack. Key No. 2: Go after satan and not people. Once you have identified the enemy, hit satan with God’s Word. Speak out the promises from the Bible. In the Name of Jesus bind satan from doing further harm and render him powerless. Key No. 3: Pray for the person who did you wrong. (See Matthew 5:44-45) Next time someone hurts you, put God’s Power to work. Identify the real enemy. Then deal with the situation according to God’s Word and not your emotions.
