“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love” (Ephesians 3:16-17) Jesus changes you when you invite Him into your heart and life. He makes you strong through the Faith that He plants in your heart, and He personally makes His home in your heart through that Faith. In The Message Bible today’s passage reads as follows, “I ask Him to strengthen you by His Spirit – not a brute strength but a glorious inner strength – that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite Him in. And I ask Him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all Christians the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love.” When you feel weak and despondent, you can lean on the strength that God promises His children. See James 5:16. When you are in need of strength, you can simply ask God for it. Another thing that happens to you when Jesus enters your life is that you are rooted and established in love. When you go through crises in your life, you can remind yourself of the fact that you can never be outside the circle of God’s love. With God’s strength and love you are more than a conqueror. You are now indeed in the circle of God’s love! Prayer for Today – “Lord, I praise You for Your infinite strength that You offer me everyday, as well as for Your unconditional love in which I am rooted and established in Jesus Name, Amen” – Faith Centre International
