You Shall Not Fear – Part 16

Published by Wesley Sing on

“So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble.” (Matthew 6:34 – AMP)

We are reminded of God’s Provision. If God can take care of the birds, He can take care of you. (Matthew 6:26). If God clothes His lilies, He can clothe you. (Matthew 6:28). Do not accept thoughts of doubt. Do not speak doubt – filled Words. When you speak doubtful words, it is like signing for a package you don’t want. In other words, you begin to accept the doubt.

Worry does not add anything positive to any situation. (Matthew 6:27). Overcome negative meditation by filling your mind with God’s Word. God knows what you need. Matthew 6:33 (AMP) “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.” Seek Him first.

He cannot get involved in your life, when you meditate on words that contradict His Word. Become Thankful in your daily life. Express your gratitude to God and then to others. Do not worry or get stressed out about tomorrow. Help someone else. This will keep you busy and help you forget your challenges. When anxiety and negative circumstances come against you, withstand it with the Word.

Confession For Today

I know that worrying is not useful. It does not add anything good to my life. Today, I refuse to be anxious, in Jesus Name, Amen.
